Cooking Workshop
For the Curious & CreativeCooking Workshop
Food is at the center of life at Hacienda La Danesa.
Our cooking workshop is an invitation to step into that world—to cook, taste, and understand Ecuador through its ingredients, traditions, and stories. Led by our chef and shaped by what the farm provides each day, the experience is intimate, relaxed, and deeply rooted in place.
Guests begin by walking through the organic garden, selecting herbs, vegetables, and seasonal produce that will become part of the meal. Depending on the day, the menu may include fresh cheese from the dairy, cacao-based sauces, coastal seafood influences, or traditional Ecuadorian comfort dishes prepared with a refined farm-to-table approach.
This is not a formal class. It feels more like being welcomed into a family kitchen.
You cook side by side, ask questions, taste constantly, and learn the details that recipes alone never teach—the rhythm, the intuition, the small secrets behind great food.
Wine is included, conversation flows easily, and the final meal is shared slowly, exactly as it should be.
Guests often arrive expecting a culinary activity and leave feeling they have understood the soul of the farm a little better.
Because here, food is never just food.
It is memory, hospitality, and identity served at the table.
