Is it safe to visit Hacienda La Danesa given Ecuador’s current security situation?

We understand this is a top concern, and your peace of mind matters to us. Hacienda La Danesa is located in the countryside, surrounded by nature and far from urban unrest. We’ve operated for over a decade with a spotless safety record, and continue to do so.

We maintain:

24/7 security and monitored access

A private internal road system

A dedicated security team

Coordination with local authorities

Optional private transport or helicopter arrivals from Guayaquil or anywhere in mainland Ecuador

Most importantly, our guests report feeling completely at ease once they arrive — and often comment that this peaceful setting is the highlight of their trip.If you have further questions, we’re happy to speak with you directly and tailor your arrival to your comfort level.

Where exactly is Hacienda La Danesa located?

We’re located at Km 67 on the Naranjito–Bucay road in the province of Guayas, Ecuador — just over an hour by car from Guayaquil International Airport.
