On Saturday, July 18, Hacienda La Danesa invites you to discover the fascinating world of beekeeping through an immersive experience that combines nature, learning, gastronomy, and one of Ecuador's most treasured natural products: honey.
Your day begins with a warm welcome featuring a refreshing beverage and a tasting of our fresh cheese paired with artisanal honey, setting the tone for an unforgettable day in the countryside.
After an introduction to the vital role bees play in our ecosystem, you'll board one of our tractors for a scenic ride through the hacienda to the apiary. There, equipped with professional protective gear, you'll enjoy a guided beekeeping experience led by our expert team, learning about the life inside a hive, the honey harvesting process, and the importance of protecting these remarkable pollinators.
While one group explores the apiary, the other will participate in Hacienda La Danesa's signature Chocolate Experience before switching activities, allowing every guest to enjoy both experiences throughout the day.
The experience concludes with a carefully crafted three-course lunch inspired by Ecuadorian flavors, followed by a heartfelt farewell as each guest receives a complimentary jar of Hacienda La Danesa honey to take home as a sweet reminder of the day.
